Three Roots Capital’s capital deployment activities are focused on a region that includes Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. Within this geography, Three Roots places emphasis on low-income/rural/Appalachian locations and underserved areas, as well as businesses owned or operated by women, minorities, veterans, and other underserved constituencies. On a selective basis, Three Roots will work with clients outside the target market and may deploy capital outside the target market.
